Some of us even try religion on for size

And Science and Art,

Hoping that the Truth

    Will Out.

Vainly, we escape the

    day-to-today

to concentrate on

imagining what the

future could bring –

    ascendant problems

    (cracks in the ceiling,

    rips in the sky.)

So we try to ‘model’ the behaviour,

    to factor and categorise

and it eludes us.

sometimes (maybe?)

    we hit the nail on the head

manage to drive a wedge into

    that great Crack of Unknowing
